Recruitment Position

Departement :             IPO China

Position:              Legal Advisor

Working Location:     Shanghai, China

Working experience:        Legal related working experience is a plus

Education:           Bachelor or above

English:               Excellent

 

Essential function / responsibility

§  Legal consulting and compliance (45%)

–      Conduct compliance investigations in international trades

–      Provide tax consultancy both domestically and internationally

–      Provide consultancy to HR function in labour issues

–      Provide consultancy to admin function in general Provide GTC training to Buyers

–      Provide other day-to-day legal support to Colleagues

• Contract negotiation and management (25%)

–      Lead/support negotiating GTC with IPO supplier, communicate with Group Procurement Legal function. Required familiar with the GTC as a whole legal knowledge is a plus

–      Keep NDA filing up to date, both soft and hard copy, including update in SMIS

–      Keep COC filing up to date, both soft and hard copy, monthly report to Head of IPO and EU

–      Keep PO filing up to date and match the information tracked on the Summary List

–      Report monthly Legal and Contract KPI to Head of IPO

• Supply Base and Market Research (20%)

–      Update Summary List on a monthly base

–      Update High potential RFQ turning to PO list on a monthly base

–      Analysis BT’s competition on a half-yearly base (Beginning of year and mid of year)

–      Research on the Railway market trend in next 5 years and the 12^th 5-year plan of Railway market on a yearly base

• Risk management and Finance (10%)

–      Track any claim with suppliers.

–      Coordinate with the D&B Report generating

–      Analysis Supplier’s Financial Risk by using the file “xRisk”. Major input data could be found in D&B report or Supplier’s financial report.

–      Declare Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Statistics Reports to the Shanghai Financial Bureau.

 

Qualification / Requirements

• Excellent English both oral and written
• Bachelor or above degree in legal
• Working experience as legal advisor is preferred
• Team work and fast learning
