Quality Engineer
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze, report, and track defects in Red Hat's product.
Automate test cases, and conduct test execution (both manual and automatic).
Research product features.
Debug software problems.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong Linux/Unix background.
Knowledge of test methodology and interested in software testing.
Scripting skills in python/ruby and shell.
Demonstrated ability to perform independent research.
Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and deliver results timely.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
Attention to details, a perfectionist will be highly regarded.
