Work Location:Taicang, Suzhou
   
    Position Description
        Primary responsible for heat exchanger development for VAVE and NPD, mainly focusing on the engineering simulations, structure design and performance validation as well as other thermal design support
   
    Essential Job Functions
        Create and validate heat transfer models, deliver detailed structure and configuration design.
        Collaborate with different functional teams to deliver design details and address solutions.
        Perform engineering analysis required to verify design performance and reliability.
        Conduct heat transfer testing and data reduction work.
        Support thermal system design and optimization work as required.
        Carry out PPAP activities, work with team to specify and verify components.
        Manage bills of material and change control continuous improvement activities.
        Provide engineering support to engineering system team, drafting team, ME etc.
        Provide CTV chiller consultant to Marketing, PSS and service to support business growth.
   
    Critical Experiences
        Master Degree or above is preferred in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in refrigeration, thermodynamics and heat transfer.
        2 years experience; a new graduate with applicable experience will also be considered.
        Demonstrated competency in at least one area of heat transfer or thermal systems design.
        Experience with the design for shell and tube heat exchanger, coil, microchannel and refrigeration systems is preferred.
        Overall knowledge of hydromechanics, material mechanics, machinery Standards, specifically air conditioning standards as ASHRAE, ARI etc.
        Good English verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment required.
        Good communication and impact skill inside and outside
        Perfect skills in Ms Office (eg, word. Excel, power point, Project)
        NPD/Lean six sigma knowledge and experience are a plus
        Pressure vessel design experience is a plus, especially for PED/ASME
