Business Analyst (intern or undergraduate students)

Position Description:

 

This job provides a unique opportunity to interact with major players in the burgeoning Chinese nuclear industry. Business Analysts report directly to Nicobar's Project Managers, and work on diverse bilingual teams to provide critical research, analysis, and evaluation of product or service markets, including but not limited to competitive analysis, business opportunities, supplier landscapes, and marketing initiatives. They also work closely with Nicobar's Project Engineers in supplier sourcing, qualification, and management, as well as quality system design, development, implementation, and management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Research, collect, analyze, and interpret data on industries, technologies, companies, and products, including scientific and financial data.

 

  • Prepare detailed analysis materials for client deliverables, including but not limited to financial models, qualitative and quantitative analysis tools, power point presentations, report layout, and presentation coordination.

 

  • Conduct site visits to nuclear industry companies - work extensively with Project Engineers to assess manufacturing capabilities.

 

  • Analyze, build, and improve systems, and processes at Chinese companies and within Nicobar.

 

  • Work with Project Engineers to prepare materials for reporting to US clients.

 

  • Support Project Manager on specific projects-related activities, including but not limited to production/manufacturing management, document control, communication, coordination, financial analysis.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Native Chinese speaker with excellent English ability

 

  • BA/BS from top university in Engineering, Business, Economics, or Finance

 

  • Enthusiastic and energetic

 

  • Able to work effectively independently and in a team

 

  • Excellent organizational skills

 

  • Creative, flexible, open-minded

 

  • Able to think logically, critically, and objectively

 

  • Highly motivated and target / goal / task-oriented
