Group Description:
Oracle Application Express and SQL Developer testing team is responsible for the quality of several Oracle products, including application express (aka html  db), SQL developer, and Data Modeler. These products are widely used inside/outside Oracle and are key to enhance customer experience when using Oracle.

Job Description:
Position: MTS/SMTS

As a member of this group, you will work with development team to review functional specs and changes, designing and writing test specs for Data Modeler,  and automation of the test cases. You will run tests in different platforms, including Mac OS, Linux, and Windows. Also different database versions need to  be certified for data modeler, such as Oracle 9, 10, 11, and third party databases including SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, DB2/390 8, DB2/390 7,  DB2/UDB8.1, and DB2/UDB7.1. You will also review the source code of data modeler so that you can write test cases to improve code coverage. Finally, members  in this team will also participate in testing SQL Developer and Application Express, due to the different release cycle of these products.

Job Requirements:
* BS or MS in computer Science, related working experience is a plus.
* Proficient in Java programming. GUI design experience is a plus.
* Knowledge of web standards, such as HTML/DHTML, CSS, XML, XSL. Familar with web application development.
* Knowledge of GUI automation tools such as QTP, Abbot or Selenium is a  plus.
* Good English communication skills, including speaking and writing.
* Good knowledge of RDBMS and SQL, experience with Oracle database and PL/SQL is a plus.
* Hands-on experience with Windows & Unix platforms.
* Excellent analytical skill; willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
* Self motivated and a good team player.
