Strategic Brands Ltd. is an expanding international company with activities and offices in Europe and Asia (including Guangzhou). We are currently looking to expand our sourcing team in Guangzhou. Our products range from household appliances, electronics, Child Care products and sport products, but are not exclusive to these fields.

So long that the candidate has a very good command of English: written, spoken and listened as well as an interest in any of the following field: sourcing, electronics, chemistry, and engineering.

Work location: Zhu Jiang Xin Cheng

Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. However working on Saturday can also be required depending on urgencies and projects.

Requirement: at least a bachelor degree. Profiles with both technical (electronics, chemistry, and engineering) and business education will be an asset. There will be a 2 months try-out.

Majors in electronics, chemistry and engineering will be a very strong asset. However, as stated before, we encourage all majors to apply. Degree level should be mentioned in the subject of the email as well as major.

Indicative salaries:

-              Bachelor: 4000 RMB and up depending on profiles and skills.

- Research for suppliers

- Supplier screening

- Communication with suppliers

- Order follow-up

- Whenever applicable: technical consulting on products related to the field of electronics / chemistry / engineering

- Translation - interpretation

- Online research

Profile and skills:

- At least a Bachelor (major in electronics, chemistry and engineering will be a very strong asset)

- Very good command of English: spoken and listened

- Good command of written English for formal communication

- Must have a very good command of mandarin for formal communication, very good command of Cantonese will be an asset.

- Good communication skills

- Team player mindset

- Good command of Microsoft suite office is a must (especially Word and Excel)

- Very good document presentation skills

- The applicant familiarity with doing research on a topic over internet (through search engine etc.) or using other medium will be critical

- Previous work experience in electronics, chemistry, engineering, purchasing/sourcing will be an asset.

- Other skills and talents (Photoshop, Corel Draw, additional language etc.) in addition to the above points will also be considered.

- Extra curricular activities (hobbies, sports etc.) should appear on the resume
