CIS Systems Administrator, BOC China

Position Summary
This position, through works with other members of Corporate Information Services (CIS), enables the achievement of Bose China business strategies by providing support of IT applications, infrastructure and hardware/software capabilities to end users in Bose Shenzhen BOC China.

Performance Objectives
 --Manage internal client experience and satisfaction as an information service provider
 --Work collaboratively with the local, regional and global CIS community
 --Deploy and execute standards, capabilities and operational procedures to assure compliance with company information security policies and a high quality IT service environment.
 --Network administration includes routers; switches; firewalls; DNS; DHCP; WINS; procurement; installation; network malicious code control; cost tracking; maintenance of internet and frame relay circuits; and VPN connectivity.  
 --Server administration includes email; backups; server malicious code control; archiving files; sharepoint assignments and access controls; routine maintenance of Active Directory, IIS, and SQL Server.
 --Desktop support includes desktop malicious code control, secure remote connectivity; encryption; and asset tracking.  
 --Productivity tools support includes desktop operating systems; PC, laptop, and server applications; telecommunication support; email, calendaring and handheld platforms; office automation tools; Intranet and video teleconferencing solutions support; and remote access user support.
 --Telephony administration includes installation, maintenance and cost tracking of telephone circuits.
 --Provide documentation for internal projects, processes, and procedures where necessary.  This includes daily updates to the Remedy helpdesk ticket tracking database.

 --Occasional work in the evenings or weekends.  Occasional travel within country.
 --Good interpersonal and listening skills and respect.
 --May be required to participate in information security activities due to investigation or audits.
 --Fair English fluency is required.

Education & Experience
 --2+ years systems administration experience.
 --Certification in Microsoft platforms or other applicable technologies.
 --Experience in Cisco Router, Juniper SSG Firewall, SSL VPN and application deployment.
 --Experience working with ERP, POS, CRM applications and databases, reporting tools, disaster recovery.
 --Experience in Engineering Software Support (UGS, NX, AutoCAD).
 --Experience in SOPHOS Antivirus, Aruba environments, Avaya phone system, Security Access Control System.
 --Hands on work in Office OA Equipment (E.g., VC, Photocopier, Fax Machine...etc.)
 --Experience in SAP is a plus.
 --BA/BS in related field.
