JOB TITLE: Systems and Data Analyst

REPORTING TO THIS POSITION: None
Job description:
This job is under general direction, independently to provide data analysis
support and customer request analysis and liaison with US/China team to
delivery the service to the internal and external customer. Daily responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: Performs basic research of processes,
applications, systems and data to support identification of functional
requirements for application or system design. Interprets and translates basic
requirements into functional specifications. Assists in the development and
execution of tests to validate system functionality against specifications.
Develop analytical tools & processes for proactive and predictive fleet trend
analysis. Ensure the computing infrastructure is used efficiently and produces a
long term business benefit. Lead in the evaluation/implementation of third party
software solutions. Ensure safe computing environment with the right software
tools and provide timely direction end users. Maintain computer facilities and
provide training to the users. Develop procedures & processes for data sorting,
formatting, analysis and routing. Generate and distribute the fleet trend
analytical report. Work with IT professionals from other business units to
update/upgrade the analytical tools & processes. Duties subject to change per
management requirements.
Competencies:
Professional skill in Microsoft Project, Excel, PPT, Visio and Word applications
and ability in coordination and presentation skill . Effective communication and
interpersonal skills with customers/partner, internally within the team and with
management. Fluent in English and Chinese and demonstrate excellent written
and verbal communication skills. Constantly maintain positive attitude with
minimum direction and with high standard of honesty and integrity. Good
judgment, extreme discretion and flexibility in work hours, travel domestically
and internationally may required. Ability to work individually and as a team and
constantly maintain positive attitude with minimum direction. Ability working
under pressure and be comfortable to work all aspects of supporting functions.
Education:
At least 5-years computing science experiences in multinational companies or
airlines maintenance, especially the experience in using software and/or
hardware for data analysis to address business needs.
