Job Description

Operation and Projects: To understand aerospace supply chain operation and project management

Manufacturing Operations: To understand manufacturing operations in the aerospace industry

 

-Assist with formulating External commodities and supplier strategies

 

-Assist with achieving Cost Excellence on purchasing activities through engineering and manufacturing improvement activities

 

-Assist for Global Sourcing Project

 

-To maintain commercial documents

 

-Assist to manage suppliers' relationship and commercial issues

 

-To research on manufacturing technology & global supplier capability benchmarking

 

-Responsible for managing and improving local engineering database

 

-Automate system and office processes

 

-Responsible for maintaining spend visibility model

 

-Technical assistant to buyers with Purchasing IT improvement projects

 

 

Special Requirement

Student needs to commit for 6 months.

 

 

Internship timeframe

Date: 1 July 2012 to 31 Dec 2012
