Responsibility:

Monitor, plan/forecast, and purchase Inventory: Coordinates purchasing activities with business partners and customers to plan, schedule and monitor the acquisition of materials to meet the production or consumption cycle requirements. Purchases inventory or materials, components, equipment, and /or services for delivery at a specified time and location in a cost effective and timely manner. Business Group Overview

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Responsibilities:

This is an internship position in the Factory Automation Manufacturing Execution Systems group.  Successful candidate will be receiving on-job training responsible for implementation and sustaining MES systems.  She/he will also learn one or more SFC (Shop Floor Controls) applications and capabilities, with responsibility for installations, configurations, upgrades, continuous improvement, BKMs and participation in related VF user groups.  The candidate will also be given the hands-on opportunity to providing on-call support for applications in order to resolve factory MES failures.

Qualifications          

l  Demonstrated ability to function effectively as part of a customer support oriented team.

l  Ability to work with customers and suppliers to support manufacturing’s operational procedures. 

l  Proven communication and presentation skills, ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment, and demonstrated problem solving skills.
