Responsibilities

1.Supplier Quality management and improvement a) Monitor and drive improvement in performance of the suppliers’ technology (design/process capabilities) and quality programs (Six Sigma Approach) b) Manage and drive improvement in supplier quality metrics (DEFOA, LD, DPPM...etc) c) Operation excellence in NCM disposition 2.Jointly work with Commodity Managers / Supplier Relationship Managers to develop and implement commodity strategies a) Evaluate and select suppliers based upon their ability to design, and the capability of their processes to manufacture parts that meet divisional needs. b) Establish appropriate criteria to evaluate supplier performance in the Technology and Quality areas of TQRDCE 3.Technical support to New Product Introduction a) Consult and guide R&D and Manufacturing Engineers in the development of part specifications. b) Advise R&D and Manufacturing Engineers on techniques for new part qualification. c) Guide R&D and Manufacturing Engineers in techniques for new part selection. 4.Conduct Part Qualification with MFG&QA engineers for regional sourcing, re-sourcing or any other qualification requests. 5.Understand current regulatory and safety issues and how these apply to suppliers and commodities.

 

 

Qualification

1. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Mechanical or the equivalent. 2. Knowledge in mechanical design, machined/molding/casting manufacturing process and experience in supplier quality management will be a plus. 3. Fluent writing and oral English, good communication skill.

Responsibilities
            
        
        

            

            
Test Development Engineer designs, develops, and improves test system. Supports and implements the transition of products and manufacturing processes throughout the lifecycle, from investigation through obsolescence.

            The primary duties and responsibilities will be: 

            1. Design & develop test strategy to ensure new products meet customer requirements.

            2. Develop test methodology, hardware and software program to support warranted parametric specifications on product data sheet.

            3. Manage the development of test stations, measurements and tests to ensure product performance meets customer requirements, with efficient factory processes.

            4. Partner with a worldwide team to plan and execute coordinated new product releases.

            5. Provide local and worldwide expertise on parametric and functional test stations and test equipment. Define measurement uncertainty analysis, and improvements to station measurement capability. 

            6. Participating in transfer project, works with manufacturing department to set up production line with stable testers, solves the technical issues of tester systems after new production release. 

            7. Test system enhancement to improve productivity of existing processes, and improve product reliability and quality. 

            8. Reviews manufacturing investments for technical feasibility and cost effectiveness, and makes recommendations in responsible areas.

            9. Create and store test documentations as required by test development process to ensure business continuity

Qualification
            
        
        

            

            
1. Holds a bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent, master degree is preferred.

            2. Education and practical experience in hardware & software designs, strong electrical engineering knowledge including design, analysis and application abilities are preferred.

            3. Familiar with related electrical design standards and other design software.

            4. Demonstrated proficiency of programming with VEE, VB and C#.

            5. Programming experience on embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS)*

            6. Excellent Team Player and communication skills, strong analytical problem solving skills.

            7. Demonstrates effectiveness with interpersonal skills and interfacing with teams that are both local and global.

            8. Demonstrates the abilities to produce useful engineering solutions for assigned problems in an independent manner.
