RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, and Environment, Health  & Safety (EHS) actions

 

• Ø Lead and effectively interface with manufacturing and other support teams to complete projects to meet EHS, production, quality, cost savings, and new product development goals within schedule and budget
• Ø Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPI's and for process improvements
• Ø Work with global system team, AME and local related team to keep product at same page as global
• Ø Lead sample built and pilot-run for new product.
• Ø Participate in LEAN initiative, and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements
• Ø Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycles
• Ø Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process
• Ø Implement productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
• Ø Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area
• Ø Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ø Diploma degree in Engineering
• Ø 2+year experience industrialization or process in industrial company
• Ø Practiced in office software, AutoCAD, Pro-E, Solid-work are preferred
• Ø Lean/Six Sigma training is preferred
• Ø Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
• Ø Strong organizational skills
• Ø Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
• Ø Ability to work in a matrix organization
• Ø Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Ø Strong oral and written bilingual communication skills
• Ø Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects
• Ø Strong project and team leadership
