Responsibilities:

-    Plan and manage the development of product from design stage to mass production
-    Define product layout and assembly definition, design mechanical assemblies and components using ProEngineer 3D modeling.
-    Review concept testing results and access manufacturability of new product.
-    Liaise with suppliers for technical issues
-    Prepare mechanical engineering documents required for project planning and gate approval, such as BOM, component specifications and technical reports, and support FMEA activities.
-    Review engineering design and drawing to maintain professional drafting standard.
-    Analyze, verify mechanical design and solve technical problems using scientific approaches, such as mathematics, physics, prototyping, tolerance analysis, CAE, FEM, simulations, DOE, etc.
-    Track and control tooling fabrication process.
-    Design calibration jig and fixture for engineering verification.
-    Assist in production launching and quality problem solving for new products

  
Requirements:

-    Higher Diploma/Degree holder in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
-    At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably gained in manufacturing industry
-    Proficient in 3D mechanical drawing (Pro E and Solidwork)
-    Innovative - Track record in successfully developing and applying new technologies in product design. Able to generate new concepts and develop prototypes for concept proof and selection.
-    Excellent communication, coordination and time management skills
-    Highly computer literate in MS office, including MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
-    Fluent in English, Mandarin
-    Analytical Analytical - Track record in solving tough technical problems. Knowledge in analysis tool such as FEM, MATHCAD, FMEA and tolerance stack-up, etc.
-    Knowledge in material properties and selection, and manufacturing processes.
