Title: Marketing Intern, Pricing
Location: Caohejing Hi-Tech Park (shuttle bus provided)
Overview:
Check if specific criteria are given correctly in GSPRs. Reject immediately if the criteria are not met but with advice sending back to sales team. Work with pricing manager to set up and maintain those criteria guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Policies and Procedures
Implement global policies, procedures and processes in the GSPRs (SPRs). Check if there is any request that is abnormal or questionable in ethical dimension
- Special Price Request Control
Check and make sure GSPRs are with necessary and sound justifications before forwarding to pricing analysts for price offer. Reject GSPRs that do not meet this criteria. Return to requestors (sales/CSRs) with reasons for rejection.
- Pricing Request Training/Coaching
Coach the sales/customer service coordinators, if necessary, the critiera of a sound SPR. Organize brief Netmeeting (or equivalent) trainings to target team
- GSPR Efficiency Reporting
Develop reports to monitor the efficiency of GSPR
- Pricing System Improvement
Propose improvements and modifications to GPMS (Global Pricing Management System) and other tools in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of pricing control and analysis.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Experiences in marketing or finance or equivalent preferred
3. Communications skills, analytical skills and PC application software skill.
4. Strong business sense.
5. Able to work independently under pressure.
6. Fluent English and Chinese (both written and spoken)
7. Can work at least 3 days per week
