1.Embedded Software Engineer

Location: China, Shenzhen

Responsibilities:

• l Develop diagnostic software for our cutting-edge SOC systems.
• l The driver-like software will be used in the full life cycle of Tegra including ASIC design, chip bring-up, board screening and diagnostics.
• l Drive diagnosis of chip and board issues with hardware, software, and operations engineering.
• l Capture & analyze HW failures and implement requirements coming from the customers and users.

 

Minimum Requirements:

• l BS or MS degree in EE/CS/CE
• l Strong C/C++ programming skills
• l Experienced with low level / driver level programming Linux / Android kernel development experienced preferred

knowledge of ARM / SOC will be an advance

2. Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description/Qualifications:

The successful candidates will engage in the Linux-based software development for our new Tegra platform include but not limited to Multimedia frameworks, ARM Linux kernel, Linux device drivers, boot loader and performance/power optimization. And the engineer will also work close with customer and 3rd party software/hardware partner to enable their software developments to deliver the Tegra related products into market.

 

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1) Bachelor of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is required and Master Degree is preferred.

2) 5+ years of experience in software development on Mobile/Linux/Embedded platforms

3) Deep knowledge of Linux BSP stack including kernel, drivers, middleware and platform BSP integration and bring up

4) Excellent Linux SW development, testing and debugging skills in C and/or C++

5) Experience with Android enabled system development is preferred

6) Experience with ARM processors and assembly programming is a plus

7) Exhibit great problem solving and debugging skills

 

8) Strong written and verbal communications in both English and Mandarin

 

 

 

9) Ability to work well in a diverse team environment as well as with cross site peers 10)Strong customer communication skills, powerfully motivated to provide highly responsive support as needed 11)Able to work in a dynamic fast paced environment 12)Knowledge of open source development models, and/or experience of dealing with Linux OSVs and working in open source software project are a plus

3. Software Program Manager - Mobile

Job Description/Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• This person will drive to success, the customer designs that use Tegra chip and BSP.
• Cradle to grave ownership of everything in SW starting with design review to program kick offs until release of products.
• Own leading SW deliverables for new silicon from emulation to production.
• Interface with customers on software issues and conduct regular project status discussions.
• Sole responsibility of driving key issues related to product and customer with software engineering, QA, Sales and marketing teams at NVIDIA to ensure success of the program.
• Collaborating with the other teams to develop a Plan of Record (POR) that is feasible from a technical standpoint, but also from a schedule/resource/feature standpoint.
• Organizing and supervising development tasks and high-level schedules.
• Track and drive all program deliverables including, software drivers/stacks, documentation and product certifications.
• Drive customer and core SW requests, defects and design reviews issues within NVIDIA's software engineering team and act as a single point of contact within NVIDIA.
• Provide technical feedback to the customers regarding the resolution of their issues and reviews of their specifications and requirements.
• Facilitate and drive any technical discussions between NVIDIA teams, customers and third parties.
• Be responsible for internally agreed schedules and communicate regularly with different teams about the time lines.
• Oversee the implementation of the project on a daily basis (may include multiple projects) with regard to time, budget and quality.
• Use project schedule and work breakdown structure produced from the methodology tool to guide team in the implementation of the project.
• Provide continuous feedback to Project Team on status of project.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• To work on NVIDIA Tegra BSP for mobile device using Android or Embedded Linux
• Develop low level camera/module drivers, sensor bring up and tuning.
• Customer interface, debugging, technical support and problem solving throughout customer development cycle
• Provide software technical training, deep dive and on-site support
• Establish relationships and trust through excellent execution, high quality, and exceeding expectations

Minimum Requirement:

• BSEE/CS or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in developing low-level or embedded projects
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
• Must have a solid operational knowledge of ISP pipelines and algorithms, sensor hardware and low level sensor drivers.

5. Mobile OEM QA Engineer

MOBILE OEM QA ENGINEER

This role is to perform overall software validation for Tegra platforms. You will be working with internal teams such as customer program managers and software program managers, SW/HW engineers as well as customer engineers. You must possess good communication skills and also have senses of digging into details. Being familiar with Linux environment is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on NVIDIA Tegra software for mobile devices using Android or Embedded Linux
- Focus on custom platform testing, issue repro, and analysis
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to create use cases, test data, and plans that ensure quality product shipments
- Have self-motivation who can work on rapid and dynamic environments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 to 5 years of software / hardware testing experience
- Experience with Linux, embedded system, or mobile system experiences is a plus
- Extensive working knowledge of the Linux environment and software building system
- Strong written and verbal communications in both English and Mandarin

6. Customer Engineering, Mobile Software Manager

Description/ Qualifications: We are looking for an Embedded Software Manager to lead a group of Mobile software support and development team in China. You will make sure the team executes to perfection in delivering on internal and customer commitments. You will own prioritizing, planning, scheduling, and managing the support of all projects and activities of the team applying your excellent technical, leadership, and management skills. To excel in this role, you have to be highly motivated, work well under pressure, have a technical mindset and global view, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and manage customer engineers to support Tegra design - Provide scheduling, resource planning, and technical task direction for China mobile projects - Use your experience in Linux systems software, Mobile device, and technical expertise to bring customer project from inception to production - Establish relationships and trust with Mobile customers through excellent execution and high quality support - Can absorb internal software status and articulate for external consumption. Drive customer project to confirm to NVIDIA design methodology and achieve time to market. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - BSEE/CS or equivalent - 5 years of experience in developing complex embedded Linux projects, including 2 or more years of management or technical lead experience - Strong interpersonal , verbal and written communications skills - Detailed knowledge of Linux system software, C language, mobile device and market segment experience - Detail-oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements - Familiar with Linux driver development environment and writing kernal driver experience - familiarity with any of following area is a plus: platform bring-up, video/audio, graphics subsystem or peripheral drivers - Able to work effectively with software development team, project manager and hardware engineers inside and outside company to support, develop, and debug functional and performance aspects of Tegra-based mobile designs.
