Research Geologists and Geochemists for the Beijing Office
EXPEC Advanced Research Centerof Saudi Aramco is hiring Chinese researchers working in the field of Geology in the Geology Technology Division. Saudi Aramco is the Saudi Arabian national oil company and it is the world’s largest oil company. EXPEC Advanced Research Center is one of the world’s largest research centers conducting research in all aspects in the upstream petroleum sector. Geology Technology Division, one of the eight divisions in the research center, focuses its research on the areas of Petroleum System Analysis, Reservoir Architecture and Quality, Unconventional Resources, Quantitative Geological Process, Structural Geology and Geomechanics and Basin Modeling.
New hires will strength our capability in Unconventional Resources Evaluation, Structural Geology and Geomechanics, and quantitative side of other research areas. You will work with the colleagues in our Saudi Arabian headquarter as one team, but reside in our Beijing office. The successful candidate must have:
• A PhD degree in Geology, Geomechanics or Petroleum Geochemistry
• Good communications skills in English (oral & writing)
• Previous academic/industry experience (preferred but not required)
• Willing to travel abroad
