Supply Chain Trainee(供应链培训生)
Job Descriptions:
Investigate and apply new technology
Develop quality initiatives
Perform machine tool capability studies
Improve processes using Six Sigma & Lean methodologies
Purchasing / Supply Chain / Logistics
Partner with suppliers to improve the cost, quality and availability of purchased components
Develop, model and simulate material management and logistic strategies and concepts
Participate in designing and developing global supply chains
Perform make vs. buy analysis
Cost-leverage negotiations
Develop a high performance supply chain by managing the supplier certification process
Improve processes using Six Sigma & Lean methodologies
Operations Supervision
Work in a high-performance team based manufacturing environment
Optimize factory resources through effective leadership
Communicate business strategy, goals, and direction
Continuous development of individuals and the organization
Develop the ability to make timely and effective decisions
Take responsibility for state-of-the-art manufacturing process
New LTDP-ME trainees can be fresh college graduates or early career Caterpillar employees
Qualifications include:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, technology, or related function
• Strong interest and passion for manufacturing operations
• Desire to lead others through teams and supervision
• Effective communications, including verbal and written English skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; Demonstrated teamwork
• Willingness and ability to relocate during and after the program
• College graduates within 1-years of most recent graduation date; Minimum university Average Score: 80 on a 100 scale (or) Grade Point Average: 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
