Software Department

Software Engineer (Cloud Computing)软件工程师（云计算）

Overview:
Cloud Computing engineer will be evolved in design and develop large-scale multimedia processing system.
Cooperate with algorithm engineer, WEB developing engineer and mobile device developing engineer to make whole system work.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop multimedia processing software architecture
2. Develop multimedia streaming protocol such as RTSP, RTMP, and HLS
3. Integrate video processing algorithm into software system
4. Optimize software with parallel processing technique, such as OpenMP, OpenCL, CUDA, and MPI
5. Design and develop local multimedia software in PC or mobile.
Requirements:
1. CS/EE Master's degree or above required
2. 4 year programming experience in C/C ; deep understanding of algorithms, data structure, computer architecture and network protocol.
3. Deep understanding of the internet; rich experience in large-scale distributed system.
4. be familiar with image/video processing, video/audio codec, and media streaming protocol is a good plus.
5. Knowledge of the architecture of public cloud service sites(Amazon, Google) is a plus

Embedded System Engineer嵌入式系统工程师

Overview

Developing key technologies to build a complete platform solutions from bottom to top that covers various application frameworks including Android and linux OS etc. And he/she will also be responsible for integrating key components together, optimizing the performance and power for the whole platform to build a turnkey solution that includes various products such as Smartphone, IPCamera,etc. In other words, the candidate will face the challenges to integrate all necessary building blocks, develop new technologies for emergent usage scenarios and go through whole product life cycle to create a real product.

Responsibilities:

1.         Driver development on embedded processors (ARM) and embedded OS

2.         Network APP development based on TCP/IP with Linux or android

3.         Development, test and debug soc firmware

4.         Maintenance and development product code

5.         Algorithm Optimization on embedded OS

6.         Good troubleshooting capability

7.         Sense of collaboration and teamwork, rewards and celebrates team successes and achievements

Embedded Software Engineer----wireless（嵌入式软件工程师--无线通信方向）

Overview:
Development of wireless(Bluetooth, Wi-Fi) related software or firmware

Responsibility
1. Wireless protocols or application development and verification (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi)
2. Device driver development (UART, IIS, SDIO, etc.) and RTOS Performance-Tuning
3. Co-Work with digital and analog team to debug and verify the platform.

Requirements:
1. Solid C programming skills.
2. Good knowledge on embedded processor and embedded OS.

3. Good troubleshooting capability, Sense of collaboration and teamwork, rewards and celebrates team successes and achievements

4. Familiar with wireless communication protocols (especially Wi-Fi and Bluetooth) is preferred.

5. Familiar with device driver development is preferred.

Mobile Developer手机开发工程师

Overview:

Mobile Web developer would be focus on multimedia system develop in Android and IOS for mobile terminal for company.

Responsibilities:

1.         Participate in development multimedia applications for Mobile terminal (cell phone or pad with Android or IOS)

2.         Expected to contribute technically to project and team.

3.         Selectively participate in analysis and design work.

Requirements:

1.         BS/MS of CS or related.

2.         At least 2 years development experience in Android or IOS SDK or NDK

3.         Familiar with multimedia modules develop (camera, imaging/graphics, network, OpengGL and so on) for mobile terminal.

4.         Good communication skills and team work.

5.         CET 4, good English written and read.

Web Developer前端开发工程师

Overview

Web developer would be focus on B/S application systems develop for company.

Responsibilities:

1.         Development B/S management systems for internet/ intranet.

2.         Build the system for customer experience and UI friendly.

3.         Expected to contribute technically to project and team.

4.         Selectively participate in analysis and design work.

Requirements:

1.         BS/MS of CS or related with at least 2 years relevant working experience

2.         Familiar with HTML/JavaScript/CSS/AJAX/JQuery. At least 1 actual project develop experience

3.         Flex with Actionscript skill would be plus

4.         JS performance optimization experience would be plus.

5.         Good communication skills and team work.

Overview:
Software QA will be evolved in the whole process of software system development. Cooperate with project manager and developers to improve software quality.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes  
2. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
3. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
4. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.

ASIC Design Engineer ASIC设计工程师

Overview:
As a Design Engineer in Verification Team, the candidate will be involved in digital logic design, verification and implementation (FPGA) of advanced system platform to support OmniVision's future generation sensor and multi-media products.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for FPGA function module design and debug.
2. Responsible for high speed system board design ang debug.

3. Participate in FPGA architecture definition and design document writing.

4. Research on super high speed system verification platform.
5. Assisting embedded FW development.
Requirements:
1. Strong analytical, and problem solving skills as well as hands-on lab debugging skills.

2. Good knowledge of RTL design and simulation.
3. Skill of FPGA and system design is required.
4. A thorough knowledge of electronic circuits and systems with practical experience in circuit design and debug.
5. Knowledge in embedded software is a great plus.

Firmware develop Engineer 固件研发工程师

Overview:

In this position, you will study function and architecture of ASIC chips. Develop firmware to verify/trouble shooting function blocks of ASIC chips and develop firmware for SOC total solution.

Responsibilities:

1.    Design functional firmware to verify function blocks of ASIC chips. Design firmware solution for ASIC chips to implement SOC total solution.

2.    Evaluate image quality of image processing ASIC chips and troubleshooting issues. Assist in tuning image pipes for optimal image quality.

3.    Develop and/or maintain system firmware for SOC products

4.    Implement and validate image processing pipeline for specific ISP products.

5.    Support the global customers for firmware function implementation and update base on SOC product

6.    Completion of software-related specifications, including requirements, design and validation specifications

Requirements:

1.       Familiar with H/W & S/W architecture, work experience on Digital Signal Processing, Image & Video processing is preferred.
