招聘职位

1) Title: Automation Software Engineer

Location: Shanghai

Number: 1

Requirements:

1.      Master or higher degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Computer engineering or equivalent;

2.      Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Chinese;

3.      Proficient in Software development tools(Preferred with Lab View, Lab Windows/ CVI, Visual C , Visual Basic, C Builder);

4.      Able to travel to US and Australia;

5.      Previous experience on semiconductor/optic automated system/equipment development would be a prominent plus;

6.      Preferred with experience in motion control, robot vision control, data management and DAQ& GPIB application;

7.      Preferred with experience in SQL database.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Work with a group of Mechanical, electric and process engineers to quickly develop world-class high-tech automated system;

2.      Responsible for automation system software development, management, improvement and system integration between motion, vision, and test equipment etc;

3.      Closely collaborate with Automation team in US for Automated system Co-development  (international travels required);

4.      Efficiently transfer Process automation equipments from Finisar global sites to SHG, followed with improvement.

 

2) Title: Program assistant

Location: Shanghai

Requirements:

1.      Bachelor degree in engineering or administration;

2.      Familiar with basic office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);

3.      Good communication both in English and Chinese;

4.      Effective communication and co-operation skills;

5.      Ability to handle multiple tasks timely.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Assist automation director to handle daily department matters, prepare documents, etc;

2.      Assist technical managers and engineers when necessary on daily operation;

3.      Attend project meetings, make meeting minutes and help project managers in project implementation.

 

3) Title: Process Engineer – Passive R&D

Location: Shanghai

Number: 2

Requirements:

1.      Master in Material, Optoelectronics, Mechanics, Automation and other related majors;

2.      2 years previous project experience in optical communication, semiconductor, automation, electronics, and related industries;

3.      Familiar with the passive/active optical components and modules, such as DWDM, Isolator, VOA, DCF, EDFA, TODC, ROADM, Transceiver, Transponder, Pump Laser;

4.      Strong problem-solving capabilities on process definition and optimization;

5.      Familiar glue process, laser welding process, Seam Sealing process, and EDS;

6.      Team spirit and good interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Define the manufacturing process for the product which is in R&D phase;

2.      Optimize and enhance the current processes running in current product lines.

 

4) Title: Software Engineer – Active R&D

Location: Shanghai

Requirements:

1.      BS or higher in computer science/engineering and/or electrical engineering or related area

2.      Knowledge in embedded systems and hands-on experiences in developing micro-controller firmware, or experienced in programming with C#, C or VC

3.      Familiar with the I2C, SPI interface protocols

4.      Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills. Proficient in using test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzer etc

5.      Good verbal and written communication skills

6.      Must be a good team player, self-motivated and able to work independently

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Take part in the design, development, and test of the embedded firmware/software for high performance optical transceivers or sub-system.

2.      Deliver the software/firmware package per project development schedule and responsible for in-circuit test, PCBA bring-up, and system level debugging

3.      Work with Finisar global software/firmware organization and follow the Finisar processes of software/firmware architecture, development, debugging, optimizing, and validation

4.      Collaborate with functional teams such as marketing, transceiver engineering, product engineering, and customer support to complete the whole process of the product life cycle.

5.      Support Finisar Shanghai site new product development and existing product sustaining engineering.

6.      Work with teams on other sites worldwide as part of the global software/firmware support.

 

5) Title: Optical Test Engineer – Active R&D

Location: Shanghai

Number: 3

Requirements:

1.      Master degree for min in Optics, Electro-optics, Physics or Electrical Engineering with strong optics and fiber optic background.

2.      Have understanding or experience of active and passive components, subsystem modules, and their test methods in optical fiber communication.

3.      Ability to consolidate and analyze data.

4.      Experience in testing solution and product development.

5.      Comprehensive knowledge of optical test solutions, and has the ability to implement experiments and root cause analysis.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Lead technicians and conduct the optical test for verification;

2.      Design and develop test solution for new or custom designed scheme;

3.      Support the transfer of new designs to manufacturing, and resolve any technical Design issues;

4.      Interact with the new product introduction group to assist in the introduction to manufacturing of new designs.

 

6) Title: Test Software Engineer – Active R&D

Location: Shanghai

Number: 2

Requirements:

1.      Master degree in computer science or Optical background with SW developing experience.

2.      Capability on Labview, VB, VC developing, as well as some data acquisition

3.      Ability to consolidate and analyze data.

4.      Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.

5.      Good verbal and written communication skills in English are desired.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Conducting development for new or custom designed test solutions, especially test coding development

2.      Help test lead to implement test system setup

3.      Responsible for taking a detailed design specification / DVT test strategy and developing a detailed verification test plan and the proposed test implementation

4.      Design, develop or modify test recipes and solutions including optical, electrical, instrumentation set-up, interconnects, installation of SW application, and database communications.

5.      Perform detailed verification and regression testing including embedded software code verification.

6.      Development and release management of software used for automated testing

7.      Need to cooperate with production designer and understand in detail the Finisar DVT and production test systems / procedures

8.      Debug, qualify and maintain test systems at Shanghai site

 

7) Title: Hardware Engineer – Active R&D

Location: Shanghai

Number: 1

Requirements:

1.      Major in electrical engineering/Optical communication/Communication;

2.      Familiar with analog and digital circuit design, high speed circuit design;

3.      Experienced in Protel or Pads;

4.      Familiar with optical communication, PON system is a plus;

5.      Experience in communication circuit design project is a plus.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Design and develop 10G optical transceivers;

2.      Help production engineering and troubleshooting, help on cost reduction activities on PCB respin or new components introduce;

3.      Work together with US colleagues for co-development.

 

8) Title: Product Engineer – Active R&D

Location: Shanghai

Number: 1

Requirements:

1.      Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Applied Physics/Physics;

2.      Good communication skill;

3.      Fluent in English speaking and writing;

4.      Familiarity with statistical data analysis;

5.      Must be a self-starter, be highly organized, and be motivated to resolving issues on a timely manner;

6.      Available for travelling to Wuxi.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Work closely with design engineers and production engineers during product development to ensure required product functionality and testability;

2.      Responsible for definition of production test requirement, optimization of product performance tuning algorithms, and working extensively with other supporting engineers to develop the test process and test systems that will be used to test the optical transceivers/transponders once released into production;

3.      In charge of training production product engineers and transferring NPI products to manufacturing facilities;

4.      Responsible for setting up necessary systematic procedure for mass production such like MES;

5.      Interface with sales and product marketing teams to analyze customer technical specification and ensure accurate product customization.

 

9) Title: Mechanical Engineer – Active R&D

Location: Shanghai

Number: 1

Requirements:

1.      BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related majors;

2.      Knowledge of manufacturing processes including metal stamping, die casting and plastic injection molding is preferred;

3.      Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation with SolidWorks or other mechanical design software;

4.      Knowledge of material properties, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and engineering analysis skills is preferred;

5.      Good communication, planning, organizational, & interpersonal skills.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Design and develop high volume optical transceiver products;

2.      Work closely with other design groups, support the team by providing appropriate design reviews, committing to development schedules, and meeting project milestones;

3.      Release and maintain drawings per established engineering change order process;

4.      Work with process engineers, production, supply chain and various suppliers to achieve acceptable yields/costs and ensure manufacturability.

 

10) Title: NPI Engineer – Active NPI

Location: Shanghai

Number: 1

Requirements:

1.      Master degree or above, major in engineering. Optical background is preferred;

2.      Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and work to support R&D team and work under pressure to accomplish the critical tasks;

3.      Good in English (Spoken & Written).

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Conduct NPI (new production introduction) activities for Linecard development;

2.      Conduct optical DVT test or MVT test in transferring phase;

3.      Takes the lead to achieve the company's target for the preparation of all the bill of materials, as well as internal WI;

4.      Takes the lead to get a good management at MFG side for all engineering changes;

5.      Setup manufacturing process; upgrade the production efficiency to strongly support company business development;

6.      Conduct cost reduction activities for project developing;

7.      Enhance engineering support to company daily operations.

 

11) Title: Automation Mechanical Engineer

Location: Wuxi

Number: 1

Requirements:

1.      BS or higher degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;

2.      Proficient in 3D design tools (Solidworks preferred);

3.      Self motivated, thorough, and creative to learn new technology;  

4.      Good communication and presentation skills.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Be a group member of automation WUX group;

2.      Tooling design and import to line;

3.      Take over new systems & fixtures from SHG team and import to line;

4.      Gather performance data and line feedback to SHG with released systems;

5.      Resolve issues with process engineer & SHG team in time;

6.      Develop, upgrade & transfer systems for production with SHG team;

7.      Work with equipment department for spare parts management;

8.      Train process engineer and equipment engineer for system & fixture maintenance;

9.      Coordinate SHG team and production if needed.

 

12) Title: Automation Software Engineer

Location: Wuxi

Requirements:

1.      BS or higher degree in Automation, Mechatronic or equivalent;

4.      English at or above CET 6 with good listening and spoken English;

5.      Familiar with SPC, 7 QC tools and/ or FMEA is appreciated.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Develop the manufacturing process for the product which is in NPI phase;

2.      Optimize and enhance the current processes running in current product lines;

3.      Write the work instruction of the processes;

4.      Train operators.

 

14) Title: Product Engineer – ME

Location: Wuxi

Number: 4

Requirements:

1.      Master degree majored in optics, physics, electronic engineering or related;

2.      Good communication skill; good English application at listening and speaking, CTE-6 is preferable;

3.      Good learning skill;

4.      Good team player and self motivated; good problem resolving skill.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Coordinate and lead the new product introduction procedure (MVB) including:

1)      Specification review with R&D and/or customer

2)      Own BOM & process flow

3)      Work out the process travel card with R&D engineers and process engineers

4)      Plan the MVB resource and schedule

5)      MVB review gate review

2.      Own and drive the cost down for the product;

3.      Work with QA, Reliability, process engineer about the RMA, Failure analysis issue;

4.      Work with SDE, buyer and Commodity manager about the incoming material quality issue;

5.      Coordinate the ISO9000 and customer audit.

 

15) Title: Process Engineer – ME

Location: Wuxi

Requirements:

1.      Bachelor or above majored in optics, physics, electronic engineering, mechanics, automation or related;

2.      Good team player and self motivated;

3.      Strong problem-solving capabilities;

Responsibilities:

1.      Work with product engineer to develop the process and process travel card;

2.      Create and maintain the work instruction;

3.      Process capability control and improvement;

4.      Reduce the process cost and improve the process efficiency (Yeild, HPU);

5.      Production trouble shooting and on-line support;

6.      Do Failure analysis;

7.      Train and certify technician and operator.

 

16) Title: Test Engineer – ME

Requirements:

1.      Bachelor degree or above majored in optics, computer science, electronic engineering or related;

2.      Knowledge in programming in Visual Basic 6.0, C and/or or LabView;

3.      Family with SQL database is an advantage.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Release and maintain the test related documents;

2.      Lead the technician to perform the R&D level product/design evaluation test;

3.      Improve test repeatability and efficiency;

4.      Responsible for investigating the test failure and support design change/improvement;

5.      Responsible for test data analysis;

6.      Responsible for failure analysis and provide corrective actions;

7.      Write and maintain manufacturing test procedures for the test operators and technicians.

 

17) Title: Test Software Engineer – ME

Location: Wuxi

Requirements:

1.      BS/MS in Computer Science or Engineering or related;

2.      Knowledge in programming in Visual Basic 6.0 and/or or LabView.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Release and maintain the product test software and technical documents;

2.      Work with automation/test team to insure manufacturability & testability of product;

3.      Write and maintain Manufacturing Test Procedures for the Test Operators and Technicians.

 

18) Title: Sr. Technician – ME

Requirements:

1.      Junior College degree or above majored in optics, electronic engineering or related;

 

Responsibilities:

1.      Responsible for tester maintenance and failure product repair;

2.      Responsible for investigating the manufacture failure and support RMA.

 

19) Title: Planner

Location: Wuxi

Requirements:

1.      Bachelor majored in logistic, supply chain or related;

2.      Good team player and self motivated;

3.      Quick learner, Good problem resolving skill;

4.      Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

 

Responsibilities:

1.      The entire planning process from the receipt of demand/SO/NPI through the shipment of finished product;

2.      Responsible for the creation and maintenance of a Master Schedule that drives the necessary resources needed to meet Demand, while minimizing inventory and Cost;

3.      Responsible for Operation Plan and works with other department to solve obstacles to meet OTD;

4.      Clear understanding of performance measurements and a continuous focus on how to improve.
