1) Title: Automation Software Engineer
Location:

Requirements:
1. Master or higher degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Computer engineering or equivalent;
2. Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Chinese;
3. Proficient in Software development tools(Preferred with Lab View, Lab Windows/ CVI, Visual C , Visual Basic, C Builder);
4. Able to travel to US and
5. Previous experience on semiconductor/optic automated system/equipment development would be a prominent plus;
6. Preferred with experience in motion control, robot vision control, data management and DAQ& GPIB application;

Responsibilities:
1. Work with a group of Mechanical, electric and process engineers to quickly develop world-class high-tech automated system;
2. Responsible for automation system software development, management, improvement and system integration between motion, vision, and test equipment etc;
3. Closely collaborate with Automation team in US for Automated system Co-development (international travels required);

4. Strong problem-solving capabilities on process definition and optimization;
5. Familiar glue process, laser welding process, Seam Sealing process, and EDS;

4) Title: Software Engineer – Active R&D

2. Knowledge in embedded systems and hands-on experiences in developing micro-controller firmware, or experienced in programming with C#, C or VC

Responsibilities:
1. Take part in the design, development, and test of the embedded firmware/software for high performance optical transceivers or sub-system.
2. Deliver the software/firmware package per project development schedule and responsible for in-circuit test, PCBA bring-up, and system level debugging
3. Work with Finisar global software/firmware organization and follow the Finisar processes of software/firmware architecture, development, debugging, optimizing, and validation
4. Collaborate with functional teams such as marketing, transceiver engineering, product engineering, and customer support to complete the whole process of the product life cycle.

5) Title: Optical Test Engineer – Active R&D

2. Have understanding or experience of active and passive components, subsystem modules, and their test methods in optical fiber communication.
3. Ability to consolidate and analyze data.
4. Experience in testing solution and product development.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of optical test solutions, and has the ability to implement experiments and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead technicians and conduct the optical test for verification;
2. Design and develop test solution for new or custom designed scheme;
3. Support the transfer of new designs to manufacturing, and resolve any technical Design issues;
4. Interact with the new product introduction group to assist in the introduction to manufacturing of new designs.
6) Title: Test Software Engineer – Active R&D

1. Master degree in computer science or Optical background with SW developing experience.
2. Capability on Labview, VB, VC developing, as well as some data acquisition
3. Ability to consolidate and analyze data.
4. Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
1. Conducting development for new or custom designed test solutions, especially test coding development
2. Help test lead to implement test system setup
3. Responsible for taking a detailed design specification / DVT test strategy and developing a detailed verification test plan and the proposed test implementation
4. Design, develop or modify test recipes and solutions including optical, electrical, instrumentation set-up, interconnects, installation of SW application, and database communications.
5. Perform detailed verification and regression testing including embedded software code verification.
6. Development and release management of software used for automated testing
7. Need to cooperate with production designer and understand in detail the Finisar DVT and production test systems / procedures

7) Title: Hardware Engineer – Active R&D

1. Major in electrical engineering/Optical communication/Communication;
2. Familiar with analog and digital circuit design, high speed circuit design;

4. Familiar with optical communication, PON system is a plus;
5. Experience in communication circuit design project is a plus.

1. Design and develop 10G optical transceivers;
2. Help production engineering and troubleshooting, help on cost reduction activities on PCB respin or new components introduce;

8) Title: Product Engineer – Active R&D

Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with design engineers and production engineers during product development to ensure required product functionality and testability;
2. Responsible for definition of production test requirement, optimization of product performance tuning algorithms, and working extensively with other supporting engineers to develop the test process and test systems that will be used to test the optical transceivers/transponders once released into production;
3. In charge of training production product engineers and transferring NPI products to manufacturing facilities;
4. Responsible for setting up necessary systematic procedure for mass production such like MES;
5. Interface with sales and product marketing teams to analyze customer technical specification and ensure accurate product customization.
9) Title: Mechanical Engineer – Active R&D

1. BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related majors;
2. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including metal stamping, die casting and plastic injection molding is preferred;
3. Knowledge of 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation with SolidWorks or other mechanical design software;
4. Knowledge of material properties, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and engineering analysis skills is preferred;
5. Good communication, planning, organizational, & interpersonal skills.

1. Design and develop high volume optical transceiver products;
2. Work closely with other design groups, support the team by providing appropriate design reviews, committing to development schedules, and meeting project milestones;

4. Work with process engineers, production, supply chain and various suppliers to achieve acceptable yields/costs and ensure manufacturability.
10) Title: NPI Engineer – Active NPI

1. Master degree or above, major in engineering. Optical background is preferred;
2. Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and work to support R&D team and work under pressure to accomplish the critical tasks;

Responsibilities:
1. Conduct NPI (new production introduction) activities for Linecard development;
2. Conduct optical DVT test or MVT test in transferring phase;
3. Takes the lead to achieve the company's target for the preparation of all the bill of materials, as well as internal WI;
4. Takes the lead to get a good management at MFG side for all engineering changes;
5. Setup manufacturing process; upgrade the production efficiency to strongly support company business development;
6. Conduct cost reduction activities for project developing;

11) Title: Automation Mechanical Engineer

14) Title: Product Engineer – ME

3. Work with QA, Reliability, process engineer about the RMA, Failure analysis issue;

2. Lead the technician to perform the R&D level product/design evaluation test;
3. Improve test repeatability and efficiency;
4. Responsible for investigating the test failure and support design change/improvement;
