Position 1:      AnalyticsSpecialist

 

This is the entry-level position in Opera SolutionsShanghai. Analytics Specialists are responsible for discrete pieces of analysisthat contribute towards solving a client's business problem. AnalyticsSpecialists break down a problem into hypotheses to be tested, structure thetesting approaches, model and interpret the data; While working abroad, assistin developing client recommendations and work collaboratively with client teamto implement changes. This position requires analytical ability, a flair forquantitative problem solving and strong interpersonal/communication skills.

 

Requirement

We look for people whoare/have:

- Students from top universities, withoutstanding academic performance

- Strong problem solving ability, logical andstructured thinking

- Solid analytics skills to solve businessproblems in a quantitative manner

- Excellent verbal and written English towork effectively in a multicultural and international environment

- Good communication and teamwork spirit

- Ability and desire to learn quickly

  

* Quantitative discipline, top rank, prize in mathematicsmodeling, demonstrated leadership or professional internship/oversea experiencewill be a plus.

 

Position 2:      SoftwareEngineer

 

Software Engineers are responsible for development ofenterprise analytics software supporting, mining and analyzing huge volumes ofdata. This position requires ability to work well within a team structure andto deliver on specific tasks, keenness to explore requirements and workproactively towards identifying gaps, and adherence to general work processes.

 

Requirement

We look for people whoare/have:

- Computer Science or related disciplinesfrom Tier I engineering colleges

- Good Python, Java or C/C++ programmingability

- Good knowledge of SQL and Database

- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix commandsand shells

- Experience building scalable and reusablecomponents

- Experience with source code managementtools

- Strong communication and coordinatingabilities
