Finance Data Analyst
An opportunity to join Global Logistics Group with exposure to corporate finance functions, shared service centers, legal entity personnel, and business units. Gain experience in a multitude of TE policies, processes, and systems applications. A highly visible department with opportunities to do a variety of tasks.
Main Responsibilities;
o The candidate will assist in maintenance and report generation from the corporate financial systems including, but not limited to, Hyperion Enterprise and UpStream WebLink.
o Participate in the development and implementation of logistics business process procedures and policies – especially those pertaining to finance (incentives, budget process, DCMS, etc).
o Provide ongoing support and assist with training end-users to ensure efficient utilization of corporate financial systems as required.
o Maintain the Global Chart of Accounts within the SAP System.
o Support various business and market analysis projects to help identify risks and opportunities for the company
o Track and perform variance analysis on actual results compared to forecasts (budgets)
o Consolidate legal entity reporting on a monthly basis
o Assist in developing the scope and planning documentation for future audit engagements
o 30% of time will be needed for administrative support for regional tasks.
Requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of Supply Chain principles and willing to develop him/herself in this area further
- Fluent in Mandarin and English language
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and proactive attitude towards work
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
