软件质量保证及应用工程师 (HyperMath/ScriptView Software Integrity Engineer)职位JD

 

Basic Functions:

The initial focus will be on software integrity assurance. The Altair HyperMath Software Integrity Engineer is fully responsible for the testing and evaluation of the product for various use cases on different platforms. He or she will work with the HyperMath Program Manager and the development team, providing feedback on functionality, usability, accuracy, precision and performance during the development and release cycle. Based on performance, the candidate will be offered the option to gradually take on HyperMath Customer Support Engineer role. As support engineer he or she will work with customers directly or indirectly. Depending on the actual needs, Altair provides opportunities for domestic or global technical training and business trips.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirements and proposed solutions/designs by HyperMath team

 

• Create overall software integrity plans and test case documents
  
  
• Review and finalize plans in conjunction with program Manager.
• Functionality, Usability, Accuracy, Precision and Performance testing of HyperMath.
• Evaluate, Develop and implement test procedures for automating HyperMath testing.
• Create, maintain and report execution of test cases
• Work with developers and Automation team to resolve there queries relating to product use cases.
• Report and Validate defect relating to HyperMath.
• Review all documentation and Tutorials for HyperMath and related applications.

• Resolve queries from customers and support teams and provide solutions for HyperMath

 

 

Opportunities:

• Get trained for other Altair products and businesses
• Work with Software Integrity team mates of other Altair math solution products.

 

• Work with Business Development Manager & other Support Engineers locally or globally to produce HyperMath solutions
• Conduct HyperMath training for customers

• Demonstrate HyperMath to potential customers

 

• Business trips to visit customers or other Altair offices

 

Requirements:

 

• Strong working experience with numerical analysis software such as Matlab, Scilab, Octave with good knowledge of math functions is a must.

• Experience/Exposure relating to testing and Quality assurance of software is desired.

 

 

• Experience in programming and scripting languages such as C/C++, TCL, Python, Lua is desired.
• Experience with FEM and/or CFD software is a plus.

• Experience with Control Systems and/or Signal Processing is a plus.

 

 

• Aggressive and creative problem solver who is highly goal oriented
• Good people, time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written) - the ability to articulate clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences (PMs,Developers, Support Team, Customers, etc)

• Familiarity with other Operating Systems such as UNIX and Linux systems is desired.

 

Minimum Education Required: 

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering; MSc in Math or Statistics.
• Talented students will be hired as interns via Altair's internship program.

 

Interview Process

• In general we will have two rounds of interviews.
• The first interview would be done via phone call for technical background, work experience, etc.
• Candidates who passed the first interview will join us in the Altair Shanghai Office for the second round of interview, with a broader group of Altair employees.
