Engineer, Software

Job Description:

We are looking for motivated software development engineers to join us. Your responsibilities will cover module design, implementation and unit and functional test as well as test automation activities. You co-operate closely with verification team to ensure software quality and to make the product development work more effective. You will work in projects as part of Chengdu R&D team using modern agile and iterative software development processes.

Requirements:

·         Knowledge of Java programming languages and Object oriented programming skills.

·         Knowledge of script languages, like Python or shell scripting

·         Knowledge of Linux or other UNIX-like operating system.

·         Knowledge of databases, like Oracle.

·         Knowledge of version control tools, such as ClearCase / Subversion.

·         Knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP

·         Knowledge of agile and iterative SW development is a plus.

Engineer, Integration & Verification

Job Description:

Are you the motivated professional in the area of SW Verification? Nokia Siemens Networks is looking for Integration and Verification Engineers/Specialists to join our development team in Chengdu. You work in projects as a part R&D team using modern agile and iterative software development processes. Your responsibilities cover test planning, test automation development, testing and verification. Also, support for system verification may be required from time to time. Sometimes you need to use your expertise in your area in investigating and answering customer care questions. Note, that we have reserved some room for adjustments in your job profile depending on your level of expertise.

Requirements:

·         You are a person who usually gets the "big picture" of things quite fast and wants to

      understand also the surroundings of your own area.

·         You must have understanding of SW development processes and you see the

      importance of testing in the process.

·         You should have experience on UNIX-like operating system.

·         Basic script language (e.g. Python), Java skills are appreciated.

·         Previous experience in testing and verification work is definitely preferred.

·         We also value your flair for communicating ideas and your team working skills.
