Eligibility requirements

To apply for the internship programme, applicants must be:

A currently-enrolled graduate in a field related to WFP’s interests.  Applicants must be enrolled during the full duration of the proposed internship period.

Have a demonstrated interest in the field of Media, International Relations and Public Affairs, particularly in areas of WFP priorities. Performance in communications, especially in social media and translation skills would be considered with priority.

Chinese national. Fluent in both written and spoken English.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Translate given documents in a timely manner;

Assist in monitor WFP Chinese social websites and interact with followers on Tencent and Sina Weibo;

Assist in WFP China publications by helping with the proofreading, printing and distribution.

Perform other related duties as required.
