Through our program’s focus on our investment banking, global markets and corporate infrastructure divisions, you will have the chance to experience some of the most important business functions within an investment bank to gain a truly rounded understanding of our environment.
Participation in Explore Nomura will give you a distinctive vantage point from which to begin investigating an exciting career in investment banking.

The 2-day program consists of an industry and business overview, product and soft skills training, skills sessions and networking events with junior and senior employees – all designed to help you develop your financial services and leadership skills.
Students who are selected to participate in Explore Nomura will also have the opportunity to be considered for a fast-track interview process for our 2013 summer internship program.

Who should apply?
If you have ever wondered what investment banking entails, of if you are curious to find out whether working in an investment bank is really for you, this is the perfect opportunity. We are seeking high achieving individuals who bring a track record of initiative, leadership and teamwork. Explore Nomura is open to all first year students (or second year students in a four-year program) graduating in 2015 from a Hong Kong university with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
Practical Information
• The program is only open to Hong Kong-based students
• Any degree discipline is welcome but we would expect you to have a genuine interest in a career in the financial services field
• You must be due to graduate in 2015
• Typical working hours 9am-6pm (plus a social event one evening)
