Responsibilities: - Develop the sales plan for optimal product portfolio management and revenue enhancement in China market. - Report market intelligence such as, competitors' movement, market status and progress of developing new market to sales director and management to help them establish steering strategy of Sales and Marketing. - Often forecast the sales plan by monthly/Quarterly due to the specificity of this business. (Highly sensitive to the change of economic status or direction and also, highly dependent on the consuming pattern). Based on above forecast and actual records, to update the market plan continuously - Develop new market, item and customers in order to achieve business goal and add values to Novelis China - To keep the certain level of conversion premium, we appeal the markets or customers by the differentiation, competitive advantages against our competitors and other substitution of Al. materials - Understand competitive situation of the market to price Novelis product to maximize our profits - Managing the payment term effectively by checking and monitoring the account receivable and over-due accounts - Preventing the financial loss, check the customers' credit limit in advance - Follow the LME market closely and understand in general the impact of market situation on customer business to take proactive actions to manage the risks associated - Manage the volume of shipment timely to avoid mismatching the number of shipment vs the position of hedged metal. - Visit customers and supply chain in market often to collect the actual/accurate changes or new direction of market - Develop and maintain market intelligence in support of fact base relative to markets, market economics, customers and competitors
Requirements: - Bachelor degree, majored in Engineering. Metal material related is preferable. - Strong passion to be a sales person - Superior customer service skills - Excellent communication (oral and written) skills; ability to communicate with all levels in the organization; Excellent English language skills - Personal traits should include the ability to utilize human relation skills to motivate, train, understand, and develop others to attain the objectives - Desire to take initiative and develop a pro-active relationship with employees through follow-up, understanding their needs and fostering a collaborative relationship - Ability to organize and prioritize workload; must be able to manage multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail - Must be flexible and able to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment - Solid computer skills with software applications proficiency - Must also possess leadership skills to direct, lead and develop other personnel to accomplish personal, plant and corporate objectives.
