Introduction of Morgan Ceramics Graduate Program

 

In 2012, Morgan Crucible commenced its new Graduate Leadership Programme.  This programme, designed to bring new technical and leadership talent into our organisation, was launched in Birmingham in the UK.  More than twenty graduates attended from around the world from Morgan Ceramics and our sister companies in MEM. 

 

As we look to grow our business, we firmly believe that recruiting graduates in China – for China – will position us to deliver our growth agenda and Firedragon strategy.  Morgan Ceramics HR Director for Asia, David Kowal, said “I am personally committed to supporting our graduate development activities in China.  I will be presenting at Universities, with my China colleagues, to explain what a challenging and exciting career graduates can have with an advanced materials company like ours.”

 

Graduates joining our global programme will be invited to the UK to meet many of our company’s senior-most executives, and participate in a high-intensity orientation program to our company, its values and strategy.  Over their two-year program, they will be presented with many opportunities to learn from the excellent leaders we have throughout our China business, building on their technical knowledge with structured training on finance, project management and operational excellence.
