设立职位的目的:  

·         全面支持植物病理实验室工作

·         支持北京站的育种工作

主要工作职责：

1.实验室病原菌的分离和纯化

·         病原体的收集和鉴定

·         病菌单孢分离和纯化

·         严格执行实验室的标准操作程序

·         保持实验室的工作记录、及时更新给实验室主管

·         病原菌定期继代培养，复壮以保持病原体的良好活性

·         培养箱或温室中病原体预试验

2.协助实验室主管进行接种物的全年规模化生产

·         培养基的制备和灭菌

·         病原菌在PDA上的扩繁

·         病原菌在高粱的扩繁

·         协助实验室主管在不同的系统中进行接种物规模化生产

3.协助抗性鉴定工作

·         完善田间或实验室的抗性鉴定技术

·         实验数据的核对与录入

·         对玉米生产地、接种圃和产量实验点的病害调查

4.玉米病害的鉴定和诊断

·         维护不同区域的病害样本

·         熟悉相应的方法对病害、病原进行诊断

·         在PDD系统中维护相关记录

·         能为市场和销售部门提供相关的病理支持

5.日常工作

·         实验设备维护和保养

·         实验室耗材的采购

·         遵循公司的安全政策，在工作中正确使用PPE

·         协助实验室主管确保实验室运转安全高效

教育资质和经验要求

·         病理学本科及以上学历

·         1-2年实验室工作经验

·         植物病理学, 了解生态学和植物生理学

·         病原体鉴定, 病害调查和抗性鉴定

能力要求：

1.核心技能: 

·         处理不同的病原体—收集、分离、鉴定、继代培养和保存

·         相关的实验设计，实施，管理经验，具有相应的实验数据分析能力

2.  良好的沟通技能和管理技能

3.  良好英语书写沟通能力

Job Purpose:  

·         Support overall pathology lab activities

·         Support the breeding works in Beijing Research Center

Duties/Responsibilities:

1)      Support for diseases pathogen isolation and purification in lab

o   Diseases pathogens collection and identification

o   Pathogen single-spore isolating and purifying

o   Make every operation strictly following the SOP in the lab

o   Keep lab work record and update for the lab supervisor timely

o   Sub-culture diseases pathogen in lab periodically in order to keep good activity of pathogens

o   Conduct diseases laboratory  pre-test in chamber or greenhouse

2)      Involve inoculums production in lab in the whole year under the leading of lab supervisor

o   Culture media preparation  and sterilization in lab

o   Multi-culture  diseases pathogen on PDA for inoculums production

o   Grow pathogen on autoclaved sorghum seed in clean bench

o   Support lab supervisor for inoculums production

3)      Support for diseases screening test

o   Field/laboratory screening protocols development

o   Diseases data review and upload

o   Diseases  survey in the market area, nursery field or YT locations

4)      Corn diseases diagnostic activity

o   Maintain diseases samples  from different locations

o   Diseases pathogen diagnosis by reliable methods

o   keep good record in PDD system

o   Provide pathology specialty in claim management related to disease problem to marketing and sales

5)      General work related with duties

o   Support to maintain lab equipments, facility in good performance

o   Support  inventory and purchase of lab supplies & operations for lab supervisor

o   Follow SHE measures and use proper PPEs in working area

o   Help lab supervisor to make sure the lab daily work in safe and efficient way

Educational qualifications and Experience:      

o   B. Sc with Pathology or above

o   1-2 years working experience in lab

o   plant pathology, understanding of ecology and plant physiology 

o   pathogen identification, screening & disease survey of corn diseases

Competencies:

1)      Critical Skills: 

o   Ability handling various pathogens -collection, identification, maintenance, subculture & storage etc.

o   Training and experience in experimental designing, organization and supervise to complete plot management, statistics and data interpretation is required. 

2)      Good computer skills, especially in scientific software

3)      Good communication & time management skills

4)      Ability on speaking and writing skills in English & Chinese
