Program Description
The objective of the CDP training program is to develop knowledge, skills and abilities that will qualify
the trainee to join our international Field Services (FS) organization as a Field Services Advisor. The
Field Services organization consists of a group of international employees who provide worldwide
startup and commissioning services to oil refineries and petrochemical plants. Field Service Advisors
are expected to cross check the physical installation of refinery equipment to insure compliance with
the design specifications. Subsequently, they advise the client refinery personnel in all aspects of
commissioning and operations. UOP has a formal Career Development Program that is used to train
all new employees for this role by utilizing our developmental pilot plant facilities. Trainees are
assigned to operations and service roles to progressively gain relevant transferable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
 Providing field technical assistance on new and/or revamped refinery unit checkout and startups
为新开工的和翻新改造的炼油装置在检修和开工前提供现场技术支持
 Providing field technical assistance and field support for development activities in commercial
refinery units. 为商业炼油装置开发项目提供现场技术支持和协助
 Following required safety procedures. 严格按照安全流程工作
 Providing feedback including suggested improvements on UOP process designs. 向客户提供运用

 Troubleshooting and recommending solutions while also addressing improvement and

 Transferring technology to customers operating and engineering staff. 为客户的运营和技术人员培

 Reviewing emergency and normal operating procedures with customer shift operating personnel.

 Advising customer operating personnel on the establishment and maintenance of the - various

Before moving to the FOS Advisor profile, candidates need to undergo 1 year of extensive
"Career Development Training" at our offices in Desplaines, USA. 在成为现场服务运营顾问前，
候选人需要在美国伊利诺伊州的德斯普兰斯参加为期1年的 “职业发展培训”
Qualifications and Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree equivalent degree, in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university Major in
Mechanical manufacturing or related. 本科及相关学历，知名化学工程学校的机械制造相关专业
 Demonstrated excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 良好的沟
通，组织和人际关系处理能力
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word. 熟练使用微软办公软件，特别是

 Flexibility to work hours that are dictated by customer requirements and assignment scope.
