EMIC introduction
The worldwide emerging markets innovation center or EMIC IN shanghai china is the global headquarter for innovation for emerging market around world. Johnson & Johnson is committed to bring in science to the art and help living and EMIC is another milestone to ensure to deliver on that promise. EMIC was completed in 2007. It is established with research facility with lab, pilot plants, a world class of consumer experience center and a magnetic work spaces devoted to researching and developing products that improve lives and our consumers. From the initial product concept to research and development, product testing, packaging design and marketing, EMIC teams work together to design products for emerging markets consumers around world use on the daily bases. Besides the team devoted to creating products to global emerging market, our center is also home for team from other products including Johnson's Baby, Wound Care, Women's Health, and OTC. This allows Johnson & Johnson best brands and team's focus on the emerging markets to collaborate on innovated ways and serve a new consumer segments.
EMIC EM R&D internship program
The internship program, targeting top universities current PhDs and Masters Degree students, provides research and development experience in an enterprises for a particular research topic or project. Successful candidates will be working with a platform lead with clear project milestones as a full-time intern in 2-3 months time frame.

Requirements
- You will graduate in 2014, 2015 or 2016
- Self-disciplined, self-motivated, perseverant and result driven
- High learning agility
- Team spirit and pleasant personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Academic background:
· Fiber platform: PhD student majored in fiber or textile with excellent academic track record
· Surfactant platform: PhD or Masters student majored in surfactant or colloidal science
· AntiBac platform: PhD or Masters student majored in computation chemistry or modeling/simulation
