Position: Sales Engineer

 

Summary:

 

Algas-SDI is a manufacturer of products and systems for reliable deployment of clean hydrocarbon fuels worldwide with headquarters from the US.

Through learning about the gas industry in China, the candidate in this position will receive an excellent opportunity on:

·        Market research – learn about the market yourself and present to the company opportunities that makes a significance.

·        Reaching out on establishing and building new relationships directly with key players

·        Learn about the best equipment technology exist today for off-grid / back-up solutions, and energy challenges.

·        Job satisfaction through a sense of achievement through your own efforts and technological/engineering knowledge learnt from university.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and find new partners, and projects opportunities in assigned territories.
  • Travel to customers to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Prospect new and service existing customers on a daily basis.
  • Manage customer service issues to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer orders to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Present and train partners on technology and engineering solutions.
  • Write technical proposal for company to customers.
  • Meet an assigned sales goal.

 

 

Requirements:

·        Strong socializing and people skills. Energetic and outgoing personalities.

·        Passionate on the gas and energy industry

·        Extremely detail orientated and high level of organizational skills.

·        Ability to communicate in English with co-workers.

·        Hard working. Believe only in hard work to create results.

·        Logical mind. Common sense.

·        Engineering skills.

·        Ability to perform under pressure.

·        Ability to work individually with minimum supervision.

·        Cold calling skills on industrial customers.

·        University degree.

·        Report directly to Sales Director.

·        Up to 70% travel requirements

Training program consists of:

 

·        Working at Production in first month or two on learning design of standard equipment and products.

·        Working at Engineering in first month or two on learning engineering aspects of equipment and products.

·        Following our sales managers to visit customers.

·        Lead by our Sales Director and other co-workers on market research and methods to identify customers.

·        Training on presentation skills.

 

Performance evaluation per month based on KPI, including but not limited to:

 

·        Sales booking performance

·        New contacts generated

·        New partners identified

·        New projects in the progress

·        Responsiveness
