Product Specialist
Department: Global Product Management
Location: Shanghai, China
TE Connectivity, Circuit Protection Products is a leader of innovative circuit protection solutions world-wide. The product specialist will be responsible to support developing and driving new product introduction, demand creation and cost reduction in meeting portfolio growth and P&L plan. The position is based in Shanghai, China.
Key Tasks:
• Be responsible for all product related documentation both internal and external including system set up etc.
• Support product manager in new product launch, development of sales collaterals, conducting training to sales, channel partners and customers.
• Collect market/customer requirements/pricing information related to the product line, work with product manager to identify new opportunities, products and define pricing strategy.
• Able to work effectively cross functions and cross regions to drive alignment to ensure projects are led and driven, product release and project completion can meet planned milestones and timelines.
• Work with product manager to be responsible for driving revenue growth and meet overall P&L.
Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:
• Master’s degree, 2013 graduate
• Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Electrical Engineering (EE) preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in either technical/marketing functions or management system service. SAP experience is added advantage.
Particular Skills & Abilities Required:
• Must be proactive, a self-starter, able to prioritize and balance strategic and tactics elements and drive for effective execution.
• Fluent in English and Chinese is a must.
• Strong planning, organization, teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate cross function and on a global level.
• Willing to take challenges for next career path as product manager.
• Demonstrated behaviours and values above TE standard.
