Software Engineer - Intern

Overview:
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work as a member of our software team to measure the quality of software and to evaluate the pioneer software solutions for Intel Hand-held & tablet products. You will be responsible for setup/execute software test in support of product integration plans. Conduct and document manual testing on certain products based upon detailed test plans.
Besides software testing, you will also be involved to evaluate some software solutions. Tasks will be assigned to you to collect software information.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Postgraduate student is highly welcome.
Location: Shenzhen, China (no relocation package)
Work hours: Candidates must work in the office no less than 36 hours/week.
Requirements:
Must have skill/experiences
- Familiar with test processes.
- Good knowledge of test definition and documentation as well as the test methods.
- Test experience on Android application is a big plus.
- Experience in using Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and good communication skills is a must.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and can do attitude.
- Very careful in working and good at summarizing and analysing.
- Be patient, do not mind taking troubles.
Good to have skill/experiences
- Knowledge in UI/UXUE design is a big plus.
- Knowledge in operating virtualization is a big plus.
- Experience in using the common PCT(Project Cooperation Tools): bugzilla, SVN, Wiki and so on.
- Good problem analysis and problem solving skills.
- Hands on mobile application development/test experience and learning ability.
- Self-discipline, able to work with multitasking.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English.
- Programming knowledge (Java, C++, Python, etc.) is a plus.
