About the Position: 
Role: Internship for the Maintenance Department

Working Scope: 
Area of responsibility

• Developing new PE and PP compounds/products/applications under the supervision of PD and lab manager.
• Design of experiments to conduct studies/experiments and trial to answer/confirm hypothesis.
• Contribute to overall HSE&Q performance by keeping high standards in relevant work environment focusing on continuous improvements
• Responsible for housekeeping and waste handling in their respective section
• Observes all necessary safety procedures and maintain awareness of others of current safe practices in order to avoid damages to personnel, assets and environment
• Conduct analysis and special studies under the supervision of lab manager or PD engineer/leader
• Conduct technical projects and studies supporting application centre group
• Proper documentation and reporting of own work according to internal processes

Skills: 
S1. Education

•   Degree (BS or MS) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science or related discipline

S2. Experience

• General knowledge in polymers
• Understand polymer structure - property - process relationship
• Knowledge of polymer technologies and additives
• Knowledge of plastics processing, testing and analytical techniques.
• Project management capability and knowledge

Working Scope:

• Responsible for follow up of inventory level of calibration standards, laboratory consumables (chemicals, glassware...) and utility gases. Coordinate re supply from the local ware house
• Responsible for housekeeping and waste handling in their respective section
• Keep trouble shooting record for all the instruments
• Observes all necessary safety procedures and maintain awareness of others of current safe practices in order to avoid damages to personnel, assets and environment
• Do non routine analysis and special studies under the supervision of laboratory researcher and / or senior laboratory technician

About You: 
Skills: 
S1. Education

• Technician, operator or equivalent technical degree in Chemistry , Polymer Science or a related discipline

S2. Experience

• Basic knowledge of plastics and laboratory equipments
