Job Description

 

Job Title: Application Specialist, MBD, Chengdu

 

Position Summary: 

The application specialist will be responsible for MBD products applications helping to 

drive growth in the clinic markets. And, effectively support marketing or sales teams by 

providing the professional application courses to the distributors or the customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Products expert and provide professional training to internal and external team;

2. Define and drive application service rule; Make the trouble shooting materials and 

products manuals available;

3. Help translate relevant technical materials into Chinese as appropriate to support

 marketing related activities;

4. Conduct clinical microbial education training to KOLs and understand the needs of the 

current and future customers for applications;

5. Work with marketing team to build up strong and consistent brand for MBD products from

 Thermo Fisher Scientific;

6. Integrate work flows with promotional, customer education and other programs to drive 

commercial growth;

7. Support product development efforts to offer appropriate products to different market 

segments;

8. Work close with territory sales team to maintain the customer device/consumable use,

 and enhance the consumable consumption through clinical education

 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: 

1. M.S. or above in Microbiology or related major.

2. Effective oral and written communication skills with both English and Chinese (Mandarin) 

as well as presentation skills.

3. Demonstrated effective teamwork player, self-motivated and result oriented, systematic problem solver.

4. Effective customer interactive skills

5. Be able to travel around Region
