Server Globalization Technology is the Globalization Center of Expertise for Server Technologies Division and has the overall responsibility for the Database, Enterprise Manager, Fusion Middleware, and Fusion Applications by providing centralized Globalization consulting, development, and testing services.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have some of the responsibilities including:

1. Working closely with Oracle Redwood product development teams to review NLS features of products and provide globalization test specs and test plan.

2. Working closely with SGT teams in China, India, Japan and US to execute both manual test and automation test.

3. Reporting defects and troubleshooting problems in NLS environments.

4. On-time delivery with high quality and adherence to corporate processes and procedures.

5. Assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems.

6. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.  

Requirements:

1. Bachelors/Undergraduate degree or above in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

2. Proficient in Java/J2EE programming.

3. Familiar with relational database.

4. Knowledge of software testing methodologies

5. Strong written and oral communications in English and Mandarin.

6. Excellent analytical skill and problem solving skills and proven ability to learn new technologies quickly

7. Proven ability to work effectively in a global environment across multiple time zones.

8. Familiar with Unix/Linux/Windows OS

Software Test Intern Tuxedo(1 Opening)

Job Description

The candidate in this position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and the reliability of the Tuxedo products. Main focus of this position includes regression testing, functional testing, and identifying the root cause of both defect and test code problems.

The ideal candidate will have some background in UNIX system software engineering, including experience with c/c , java, shell script, database and web based application development.

Responsibilities

Setting up and configuration of Tuxedo products and perform regression test.

Problem analysis, diagnosis and resolution for both defects and regression test codes

Develop test cases with c/c /java and perform test automation

Perform some manually testing for GUI, sample and installer, etc.

Requirement

At least 1 year of c/c /java program experience

Familiar with Linux/Unix and Windows operation systems a plus.

Good knowledge of Shell scripts, database a plus.

Good communication and inter-personal skills, Good project planning and management skills.

Good analytical skills.

Good team player.

Good English written / verbal communication.

Fulltime for at least 6 months

BS or MS in Computer Science or related.
