China Solutions Associate – Job Description

China Solutions (tj***.cn[点击查看]) is a Shanghai-based advisory firm that delivers legal and operational solutions for foreign direct investment projects in China and cross-border transactions involving Chinese counterparts.
Location
Exceptional offices in Xuhui District, ten minute walk from Lines 1 and 7 metro.
Job Description
A multi-lingual, fast-paced, close-knit environment, this position demands an agile and self-motivated individual who will be an effective part of team-driven solutions for businesses operating in China.
Successful candidates will contribute, manage and lead projects by:
(i) Managing and conducting primary and secondary research;
(ii) Preparing and delivering formal and informal advice;
(iii) Crafting game plans to successfully deliver completed work product to clients;
(iv) Working closely with multi-cultural team members; and
(v) Managing client expectations.
Criteria
Successful candidates must meet the following criteria:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in law;
(ii) Master’s degree in law (preferred, not mandatory);
(iii) National Judicial Qualification (preferred, not mandatory);
(iv) Six or more months prior work experience;
(v) English proficiency;
(vi) Translation and interpretation experience;
(vii) Superior legal research skills;
(viii) Superior communication skills, and team spirit;
(ix) Superior logical thinking;
(x) High level of motivation for professional development.
Starting salaries range from RMB5,000 to RMB9,500 depending on capabilities, with raises available for proven quality and professionalism.
Candidates who have not yet graduated are eligible for our traineeship program, which requires a minimum six month commitment and has RMB100 daily stipend.
