The FFT Group, whose head office was founded in Fulda, Germany in1974, has more than 1100 professional engineers all over the world.
FFT entered the Chinese market in 2004 and established FFT Production Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., which is located in the famous Anting Automobile City. Until now FFT Shanghai has more than 300 professional engineers.
According to the requirements of our customers, FFT offers turn-key service for the design and supply of complete systems for body in white and assembly plants. The service range includes project management, planning, design, simulation, plant implementation, pilot series and launch support, quality assurance and after sales service. FFT also offers system solutions and products, including roller hemming, image processing, laser technology, gluing and filling technology and welding and joining technology.

Required Education & Experience / 教育背景及工作经验
- Bachelor degree with major in mechanical or electrical filed (electrical engineering, material, mechanical automation or related, etc.,);
- Good command in verbal and written English/Chinese (additional language skill is plus, preferable German.);
- Much stronger inter-personal skills with ability to work through all levels of organization, both internally and externally to manage conflict.
- Proficient in commercial terms and conditions;
- Good understanding of major manufacturing process will be a plus;
Main Tasks & Responsibility主要任务和职责
- Responsible for souring of new suppliers in a timely manner to support project launch so as to support team members to achieve department target(cost saving , good quality compliance, delivery, lead time);
- Follow sourcing strategy & plan to make marked study to find out good potential suppliers;
- Collect & analyze the information of new potential vendors;
- Organize external visiting and auditing to the potential suppliers with team members;
- Evaluation of new suppliers using Supplier Audit Tools;
- Support the pre-selection of potential suppliers;
- Coordinate to organize the technical clarification between team members and suppliers;
- Make quote analysis with internal team and negotiation with suppliers;
- Participate in final decision process of supplier selection with team members;
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and internal business controls;
- Interface between engineering, quality, purchasing, and suppliers;
- Periodically audit the suppliers after project reaches some timing stone so as to make supplier performance evaluation with team;
- Support to make improvement actions with selected potential supplier;
- Support proposal team in new supplier sourcing & cost negotiation & lead time confirmation at the bidding stage;
- Other assignment & purchasing support such as contract/PO management to follow up the purchasing, material tracking and payment issues, etc., ;
- Coordinate & follow up & drive the resolution of quality issues & delivery issues & service issues from suppliers as interface between team members and new suppliers;
- Maintain the monitoring system for cost saving against budget & on-time delivery review based on objective statistics;
- Support ISO activity related from QM;
- Make regular statistics and reporting related to purchasing. |
