To meet theincreasing demands and rising expectations from the stakeholders, a secondcentre for FSSC was set-up in the bustling city of Tianjin, which was aptlychosen as the ideal location based upon pre-defined key parametersincluding Resource pool, Scalability, Stability, Cost of Operations, Speed toset-up, Space, Governmental support and Risk factors.

The secondcentre of FSSC became fully operational in Tianjin on July 2nd 2012. Thecurrent staff strength is 140 and in the next 9-12 months, the aim is togradually increase it to 200-250 staff.  The centre initially supports 13countries and provides the group with services of Accounting Operations,Business Finance Reporting, Financial Reporting, Management Reporting andFinance Systems Management. Over time TJ will be built to handle an array ofFinance processes providing scalability for Standard Chartered Bank growth andFSSC Chennai with a strong BCP capability.

Position:Financial Analyst

1. Timely submission of financial reporting packs that comply with Group reporting instructions and meet data standards and integrity

2. 100% compliance on general ledger controls and reconciliations and operational risk management procedures

3. Successful implementation of process change and continuous improvement initiatives

4. Continuously identifying opportunities to improve data quality, processes and activities to make them standardized
