Introduction to Silver Lake	Silver Lake Partners is a mega cap private equity firm focused on large scale investments in the technology, technology-enabled, and related growth industries. Founded in 1999, the firm has become the global leader in technology investing with portfolio companies generating more than $85 billion of revenue annually. Silver Lake Partners has invested in many of the largest technology leveraged buyouts and is currently investing out of a $10 billion fund. Silver Lake's current and past portfolio includes Alibaba, Allyes, Avago, Avaya, Dell, Flextronics, Gartner, Global Blue, Gartner, GoDaddy, Groupon, IDC, NASDAQ, MultiPlan, NXP, Sabre, Seagate, Skype, Spreadtrum, SunGard, Thomson, William Morris Entertainment (WME), and Zynga. Overview of Internship Program	The Silver Lake Summer Analyst program is a 10 - 12 week program, which provides rising seniors with an opportunity to evaluate and actively participate in private equity transactions. Since deal teams are generally small, analysts will be exposed to a variety of responsibilities including financial modeling, conducting industry and business due diligence, interacting with management, and working with advisors. Based in Hong Kong

The Silver Lake Analyst program is typically a two year program, which provides college graduates with an opportunity to evaluate and actively participate in private equity transactions. Since deal teams are generally small, analysts will be exposed to a variety of responsibilities including financial modeling, conducting industry and business due diligence, presenting investment ideas, interacting with management, and managing relationships with advisors.

Based in Hong Kong or Shanghai

Upon completing the Analyst program, strong performers will have the opportunity to remain with the firm as Associates.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree, expected to graduate in summer of 2014

Top 5% of department

Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin)

Understanding of accounting and corporate finance

Relevant experience preferred (eg. investment banking, consulting, private equity)

Interest in technology and technology investments
