Job title：Field Service Engineer

Location:

The home base shall be in Tianjin within the mWS facility ( Beijing or any other location in China as an exception in special case only )

Purpose of the Job

The Field Engineer executes mechanical Generator erection works, directs and/or supervises the local erection staff for erection tasks of individual components and systems of his discipline without leadership function. The work is defined and coordinated by a superior technical lead.

Responsibilities

· Erection schedules, documents and procedures within discipline and assignment

· Expertise and experience to ensure performance complies with equipment/ system specifications

· Prepare erection work with necessary tools and consumables

· Report any non-compliance within discipline to superior

· Assure that equipment, instruments and tools are handled with care

· System walk downs and handovers with requirements

· Implement any technical issues associated with Alstom supplied equipment

· Inspection of carried out works and handover equipment within requirements.

· Coordinates with the superior on status of work

· Keeps daily logbook with all relevant information regarding non compliances, work tasks, improvements, delays, working times etc…

· Assures works are proceeded in compliance to the management systems

· Assures Field Service, project and site regulations are obeyed.

Job Requirements

Knowledge and Experience

· Bachelor degree , mechanical ,electrical major is preferred;

· Professional training, a mechanical apprenticeship, or mechanical field experience for some years.

· Capacity to handle problems efficiently by being creative and providing fresh insight.

· Ability of high work rate and handling multiple tasks at the same time.

Overall Requirements and Competencies:

· Applicants must be willing to travel to different locations in China and abroad in accordance with job demand

· Work requires willingness to work flexible schedules

· Effective teamwork and communication skills

· Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

· Basic English skills
