Technology Trainee ? The appointee will assist in implementing application system projects to carry out one of the following ? Requirement study, analysis and design, programming, testing ? Documentation, user training and support ? Provide technical support services such as problem trouble shooting and answering enquiries from internal and external users ? Perform other IT support related duties as required KEY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED ? Familiarity with computer operating systems such as Linux and Microsoft Windows ? Database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL and Oracle databases is an advantage ? Computer networks such as TCP/IP and Internet, and IT operations and user support is an advantage ? Computer programming languages such as JAVA, SQL, C#, PHP and Web Reporting tools, etc. is an advantage ? Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese ? Outgoing character, good communication and interpersonal skills LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS Develop general business management skills and have the possibility to plan their own career to best suit their individual interests. Business Trainee JOB DUTIES: ? Manage the existing accounts/ customer relationships under the guidance of the mentor/immediate superior ? Recognize or rather seeking the potential (or new) clients for the firm/ business. ? Assist his/her mentor in the formation of the strategies which are set up to help achieve the goals and objectives ? Process of the information regarding the market in which the business functions ? Analyze the customer needs of the business and then incorporating these needs in the products or services that the firm provides ? Gather all the relevant data as per the directions of the superiors and then analyzing it to get the required forecasts etc. ? Interacting with the clientele and managing the firms’ relation with them ? Assist in the solving any sort of problems that may arise in course of business operations. KEY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED ? Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English ? Good interpersonal skills ? Enthusiasm, detail-minded, responsible and can work independently under pressure ? Eager to learn and want to have self-improvement ?
