Job Description
*Conduct innovation research work on automatic speech recognition technologies
*Address language-specific issues to optimize the recognition performance and noise robustness
*Diagnose field problems and optimize recognition accuracy for important customers
*Evaluate ASR system performance, conduct the result analysis, and find out the potential ways to further improve the performance
*Participate in the development of Chinese solutions like Car Mode, provide expert support on ASR technologies and associated applications
*Document application development process and ensure reproducibility of delivered products
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
Number of Years of Work Experience: 3-5
Required Skills:
*A strong academic background in digital signal processing, speech and audio processing is desired
*Previous experience in speech recognition and/or closely related technologies
*Excellent analytical and diagnostic skills, quick learning
*Desire and ability to be a team player
*Experience in Linux/Windows environment and strong in scripting languages such as Perl and Python
Preferred Skills:
hands-on experiences in one or more of these areas, ASR R&D, embedded systems, software engineering, natural language processing and understanding
Education:
Master or PhD in EE or related domain in a well known university or research institute
