1. Job Title: Internship for Global Operations Elite Program (ID: 140006NY )Shanghai

ü Conduct cost analysis and manufacturing process analysis on notebook, desktop, and server products to identify potential savings
ü Support negotiations with strategic suppliers
ü Work closely with procurement and product development teams
ü Participates in design of new Data Center projects
ü Manages multiple activities related to DC infrastructure.
ü Responsible for developing, applying, revising and maintaining DC Operations
ü Serves as DC Ops representative in cross-functional projects
ü Support business strategy development
ü Interact with cross functional team to solve problems
ü Conduct data analysis & benchmarking
ü Drive strategy implementation & continuous improvement
ü Develop and maintain cost models for notebook products
ü Conduct data analysis and track KPIs to support sourcing decisions
ü Drive necessary changes against cost issue and size the cost reduction opportunities
ü Support supply chain management to launch new products
ü Conduct commodity supply chain analysis and business process analysis to support management decisions
ü Work closely with cross functional team to resolve supply chain issue
Qualification:
ü Targeting year 3 undergraduates or year 2 of postgraduates with major in Material Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Finance Management or Business management, etc.
ü Logical thinking with excellent communication skills both in English and Chinese

2. Job Title: Internship for System Engineering(ID: 14000F0V) Shanghai
Job Description:

ü Assist test developers on design and develop hardware devices, testers/fixtures for Dell product PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) test. E.g. assist on test validation according to test plan, setup test fixture for validation.
ü Validate and debug PCBA test software or tools and report to test developers on the result.
ü Participates in the creation of design, functional, technical, and/or user documentation, as needed.
Qualification:
ü Targeting year 3 undergraduates or year 2 of postgraduates with major in SW, EE, or ME
ü Good ASM/C/C /VC language programming skill
ü Fluent in English

ü Develop and manage project milestones and schedules for new products
ü Define comprehensive scope of project (objectives, deliverables, timeline, business requirements)

ü Evaluate results against program goals & metrics
ü Responsible for ensuring stable, controlled migration of hardware and software changes into the production environment

ü Additional responsibilities include ensuring quality goals and performance measurements are met.

Requirements

ü Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge with lean principles and tools such as VSM, JIT, Kaizen, SPC, Statistical Problem Solving, TPM, 6S etc.
ü Well Known Lean Manufacturing and Lean Methodology.
ü Strong leadership & teamwork Spirit.

Job Description:
Responsibilities
ü Conduct the research, plan, pilot, document, communicate, implement and coordinate key fulfillment capabilities for ODM manufacturing.
ü Coordinates research and resolution of order management, procurement, logistics, import, export compliance issues that’s relevant to the ODM fulfillment.
ü Manage, improve and exceed productivity and business goals for ODM fulfillment
ü Liaise with other functions within the organization to drive improvement projects in order fulfillment, ODM manufacturing, increase efficiency in logistics channel.
