OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTATIONSSAP AI T&L (Transportation & Logistics) department is looking for a technical writer intern. AI T&L team, as part of SAP global logistics family, is committed to harnessing logistics market opportunities in China, leveraging leading-edge technologies, and delivering best solutions to customers.
You are expected to assist the technical writers in the team to write documentation in English for software products. We regard high-quality documentation essential to our customer's success. Our documentation includes on-screen texts, user guides, administrator's guide, online help, etc. You will work closely with professional writers and software developers to gather input, discuss open issues and create documentation.
As an intern, you have the chance to learn business knowledge in logistics, dive into the culture of a MNE, gain insights into the career of technical writing, and most importantly, hone your writing skills.
SKILLS ABD COMPETENCIES
The ideal candidate shall have the following qualifications:

• Excellent English writing abilities (university students majoring in English preferred, but students from other disciplines are also welcome.)
  
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Power Point)
• Attention to detail and eager to learn
• Solid academic record

Additional assets:

• Understanding of technical writing or technical communication
• Previous experience in English writing or translation
• Desire to broaden skills by applying technical writing skills in a development environment

REQUIREMENT
Seeking students who can work with us at least three days a week or at least six months; a long-term commitment is preferred.
