Our internship offers students the opportunity to experience work and life at PwC in their penultimate year of study. Join us and work alongside experienced professionals to develop new skills and qualities that will be valuable for your future career.
We offer a limited number of internship opportunities in the following areas:
- Assurance
- Tax
- Advisory
Whichever of these you choose, you could find yourself arriving as a graduate with the skills and insights to hit the ground running!
When and where do they run?
Our internship commences in January / June and last for around 4 weeks. Opportunities are available at PwC offices all over mainland China, giving you an even greater range of different experiences to choose from.
Who are they for?
If you are in the penultimate year of your business degree in any registered universities, then you are eligible to join our internship program. Besides a good academic record, you have to show your ability to provide excellent client service by knowing how to invest in relationships. You are also expected to share and collaborate with others and ultimately add value to the team.
We regret that we are unable to consider graduate application from any person who does not have a right of abode or an appropriate visa to be able to live and work in your preferred work location.
What will you do?
As an intern, you will be treated in much the same way as our regular graduate intake. Over your time with us you will be exposed to a wide range of work and clients, and will be expected to make a valuable contribution throughout.
If that sounds daunting, don't worry: you will not be thrown in at the deep end straight away.
We will provide all the support you need. For instance, you will have a "buddy" to answer your questions and to help inform your development. You will also receive regular feedback on your performance from your "career coach".
What you will get out of the internship?
Most importantly, our internships are designed to give you a real-life view of what a graduate career with PwC would be like. You'll have the opportunity to learn first-hand information and if you perform well, you may receive an offer of a full time job. Beyond this, our aim is to raise both your commercial awareness and interpersonal skills to new levels. By experiencing life inside the world's leading professional services firm, you will develop new skills and qualities, standing you in good stead for the future, whatever you do.

- Assurance: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan
- Tax: Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Qiandao, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen
We'll be contacting shortlisted applicants in late May or early June about the next stage of the assessment process. If you don't hear from us within eight weeks of your application it's unlikely you've been successful.
