The candidate should be expert in defining database design and database objects (Tables, Views, constraints, Triggers etc). The candidate should also be an expert in developing PL/SQL based procedures implementing complex business logic. The role requires detailed understanding of Oracle database integration with front-end J2EE based applications and reporting tools like OBIEE. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end development and maintenance of Oracle based back-end code and reports, which would involve interaction with the business and system analysts for understanding the requirements followed by design, development and unit testing of the software. The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment.
