Key to the continued success of Unipart globally is the development and business launch of the new Unipart (Suzhou) Logistics Ltd operating within the SIP.
Unipart Logistics has recently won a significant addition to its global aftermarket supply chain management contract for 2 major European Vehicle Manufacturers.
A brand new warehouse within the SIP will serve as a hub for parts importation into China and from 2009 onwards will also serve as the main Asia Pacific parts warehouse and operation for both manufacturers.
In order to achieve this regional expansion a number of roles are newly available for highly motivated individuals looking for a career in a challenging and progressive logistics environment.
Job Description
The Accountant will report to the Finance Supervisor.
This is an opportunity for an accountant to start in an accounting career with a large European company. The company manages the importation, warehousing, distribution and sales of genuine vehicle Parts in China, and from 2009 onwards the Asia Pacific region. The role will commence with in house training with the aim of developing the successful individual to a level where they can work autonomously on their own tasks. The ability to master the internal SAP system along with the interpersonal skills is paramount.
Tasks AR management
Calculate the charges to clients
VAT invoice provision to clients
Statutory tax reports filling
Group tax reports
Cash flow forecast
Cost tracker and analysis
Qualifications PC skills (Word, Excel), good oral English
Excellent communication skills, proactive approach,
University degree, basic accounting qualification,
Experience of an ERP system (not mandatory)
Project management experience is plus
