DescriptionAs an entry level Manufacturing Intern at Caterpillar, you will have the opportunity to provide a management development process to enhance the flow of qualified manufacturing experts and candidates for middle management.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: * Selected candidates enter into a Intern program that enable them to move throughout a variety of assignments in manufacturing planning and engineering, first line operations supervision, purchasing, logistics, quality, facilities engineering, and/or design engineering thus gaining a broad-based understanding of manufacturing. * The recruits will move through 3 or more multi-functional assignments to provide a broad base of experience.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications: * A degree in one of the following: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering / Technology, Engineering Management, Manufacturing Engineering / Technology, or Manufacturing Systems. * A GPA of 2.8 or higher.
