| Responsibilities： 1.Deliver up to six classes per academic year, each class typically requires 3 to 4 lecture-hours and 2 office hours per week for a 15-week semester 2.Prepare and conduct classes, design homework and supervise examinations 3.Guide TAs for recitation classes and grading 4.Maintain a course website containing teaching materials and information 职责 1.每学年规定的授课量为6门课程，15周的学期中，每门课程基本需要每周3到4小时的授课时间及2小时的办公室答疑时间。 2.根据指定教学大纲备课、授课，布置作业并监考。 3.指导助教开设助教课，以及作业的批改。 4.维护课程网页，该网页中应包括所有教学资料及相关信息。 |

| Successful candidates are expected to teach both writing courses and humanities or social science courses but actual ratio between these two courses is negotiable in consideration of the candidate's background and interest. While the area of specialization is open, expertise in technical communication and in specific disciplines not currently represented - such as economics, history, sociology, anthropology, and psychology - is particularly desirable.
